I failed the CLEP analyzing and literature test! :(

So I took that clep test this afternoon and I got a 48. That test IS NOT easy. The only reason why I took it was because I though since I took honors english in high school I would do fine on this exam. I was so wrong. I studied by go over litetary terms (btw the exam doesn't ask much about these terms, probably like 5 to 7 questions) and take practice reading comprehension and analyzing tests. The CLEP sample test in its stud guide was way too easy compare to the real test. I don't know if I should retake it or just take the class at college. I just want to get it over and done with to focus on m science courses. The test had more British literature works than American, which I find harder to comprehend. I am so discouraged to taking it again.
