Analyzing & Interpreting Literature, Passed with a 64!

by Matthew Thomas
(Rehboth, MA)

Growing up I read a good deal of classic literature (Dickens, Twain, etc.). With that preparation I could have passed the test with no study at all but as it was my first test, I studied a little first.

The main thing I had to do was to familiarize myself with words like: Onomatopoeia, Alliteration, Off-rhyme, syntatic repetition, mataphor, simile. & types of Poems such as: Elegy, Blank Verse, Free verse, Heroic Couplets, distich, odes.

I actually had a lot of fun with this one. Enjoy it!
