"Top Score Contest"
Rules and Information
The Top Score Contest will begin on October 1st 2009
So you want to know what the deal is about the Top Score Contest eh? Well, it's a simple one!
Each month, I'll pick the highest exam scores submitted to the Bragging Post. I'll be giving out three gift certificates each month. One for CLEP, and two for DANTES. (Sorry ECE takers, but until I can figure out a way to verify scores, I can't include you. I'm open to ideas) The two for DANTES includes both the exams on the two digit scoring system and the exams on the three digit scoring system.
Provided the submitter with the highest score followed all the rules (we'll get to those in a minute) each person will win a $25 gift certificate from Amazon. Coincidentally that's just what a REA study guide usually costs. ;) Of course you can spend it on anything you like.
So now let's talk about the rules. Each of these must be followed for you to qualify for monthly Top Score Contest.
- Let me know in the submission that it's a contest entry.
- The exam must have been taken in the current month.
- Upload a picture of the exam score sheet clearly showing your name, date the test was taken, and score. You can black out the rest of it.
- Post what you used to study, thoughts about the exam, and anything else that may help other testers. More information is better than less!
- Make sure to include your Email address in the notification section (I'm the only person that will see it and I'll need to contact you if you win.)
If you've followed all of those and your score is the highest for the month, you win!
If there is a tie, then each submitter will be required to write a 5,000 word essay on why they deserve the prize... I'm kidding! The one with the earliest submission date will win.
Likewise if someone submits a perfect score, they will automatically win for that month in that category. The lesson here is to submit early!
Top Score Contest winners for the month will be announced by the 10th of the following month.
